| Re: Smutt Trophy 2009 Think your right Ian , selsey is a great smut beach but its not really the place you can plan ahead for due to weed , weather and general hit and miss with the smutts. I really think we should look at a more general sort of mark and if the smutts turn up then goodo but if they dont theres other bits to catch. We also need a very meet friendly beach with no groins a chippy , india,chinese and a Bab shop and Pub for Baggie it also needs to be fishable all tide.Last year we sat for hours just waiting for the flood. | Re: Smutt Trophy 2009 I would go with Seaton... caught my first Bass there last year, as well as smutts. Free parking & lots of it (unless mid holiday season), short walk - not too busy anglerwise.
