| Forum Smutt Meet 2008 Poll OK, after hours of discussion & consultation with those in the know on the south coast (Gullyworm, Maghouse & Flying Fox) I have decided on these three possible dates for the 2008 Forum Smutt meet. The above mentioned will recieve a public ducking if we fail to catch....  Sat 21st June. High tide 01.48 Sunday 4.4m tide Sat 5th July High tide 02.11 Sunday 4.8m tide Sat 19th July High tide 01.05 Sunday 4.4m tide Venue will probably be Selsey again. However this will depend on where the fish are showing nearer the chosen date. Hopefully having an early morning tide will give us a few hours to socialise in the evening before the optimum fishing time of 2 hours either side of high water.  Over to you......  Please note... I've ammended the tide hights on this post. The above ones highlighed in red are correct (According to Maghouse) Not the ones on the voting section. Sorry for any confusion... | Re: Forum Smutt Meet 2008 Poll I think the tide on the 5th will be too strong and bring loads of weed down, especially if you are fishing Selsey. Should be OK for Pagham or Hillhead though. |
