| Re: Smutt Trophy 2007 Rules. i went on a bait scavenge mission this afti , the plan woz hit southampton for about 5pm for a wee dig and hunt about for crab, well the wife and kids tagged along for the ride and after my usual late start we hit the beach at 6pm with the tide 3 hours into the flood out comes the prong and me n ash stomped down to the edge of the worm bed which was rapidly being covered by the incoming tide. 1/2 hour later i'd a score or so good uns in the bucket but had bust me prong. the tide had also covered the area i sometimes hunt for peelers so we set about getting some hardbacks as a stand by bait with a weighted/baited dropnet. a couple of hours of that and we had over1/2 a bucket full , any more and the buggers would be climbing out so we called it a day. it was a bit choppy/weedy and the wind was drafty and so we left the carp rods in the car and headed home.  i now just need to know how to turn 200 crabs into peelers by saturday and i could be quids in __________________ 2008, sessions..25, total blanks..3 species,..20 its easier for a man to destroy the light within himself than to defeat the darkness all around him. |
