Who supports Who?

Just so i know who i'm gonna fall out with next month

I'm a Man Utd fan. I live in Cumbria but was born and raised in Old Trafford for 20 years.

Re: Who supports Who?

Firstly I'm a lifetime Hartlepool United supporter, born and bred in the area so it's by default. However, I've lived in Surrey for 20+ years so have a soft spot for Crystal Palace which is reinforced now by my son supporting them too. I wanted him to support his local team not just one of the usual top 6 prem teams as most of his school friends do. Great club with a good family ethic and a rocking atmosphere when Selhurst Park is full

Re: Who supports Who?

Split loyalties for me, the mighty pool and "The Glovers" (Yeovil Town)

I'll always support my home town but when I was a kid Yeovil Town were a lowly conference side (albeit with a giant killing reputation) and my father supported Liverpool so kinda followed him.

Been to Anfield a few times over the years so not just an armchair glory hunter!! Hopefully King Kenny can return us to were we belong.

Yeovil Town are now an established League 1 side, it was only 2 or 3 years ago I was in Wembly watching them in the playoff final. They lost to Blackpool unfortunately who gained promotion to the Premier League the following year so not to shabby!!

Re: Who supports Who?

Well I don't really support any team. If I did it would have to be Cardiff City, so I can't see us falling out any time soon ;)

Re: Who supports Who?

Corinthians, Chivas Mexico, and DC United in football (sorry, don't really follow European leagues), the Washington Redskins in American football, the Atlanta Braves in professional baseball, and the Carolina Hurricanes in hockey for me!

Come World Cup time, I support the USA as I should, though I am realistic enough to know that being from a country that sucks at the game, and having a Brasilian wife to watch it with (usually in Tóño the Mexican's restaurant or home) I cheer for their countries as if they were my own.

Re: Who supports Who?

Hey pyromaniac, your team has got a better chance of winning than England at at least you won't hear "Ooh look we just passed a ball three times without loosing posession, is it just like 1966 now?". No it blo@dy isn't. At least Wales are realistic enough to know they really are cr@p :)

Oh, did I say we wouldn't be falling out.......

1966 Was an exceptionally good year.
