Just wierd
That bugs me too... You see a lot of New York Yankees fans all over the country here, just because they win. I live probably 700 or more miles from New York, and we have several baseball teams that are much closer in Atlanta, Cincinnati, Washington, Baltimore, and Philadelphia. Yet still, we have plenty of idiots around here who have never been to New York, will never go to New York, and have no ties to New York, who profess their undying love for New York teams, especially the Skankees. I know one guy whose family has been here in the south for 11 generations (that he can trace) who is quite rude about his support of the Yankees (as most of their fans are, though that's not abnormal for New Yorkers but is less normal for small town southern natives).

Re: Who supports Who?

My favorite team is the Atlanta Braves (the good southerner that I am), and my second favorite is whoever is playing against the Yankees.

I support Everton because my Dad does, as does my Grandad.......certainly not for the glory I can tell you that much.....costs a fortune to see them play as well........ a labour of love

I don`t think you need to come from somewhere to support them.......Maidstone utd are shocking and the nearest football league team is Gillingham.....need I say more lol

Born and lived in Portsmouth my whole life.....
Been there for the horror times, the bad times, the worse times, Oh yeah the blip of Glory! (Harry for England Manager!), now back in to normal swing of things.
Grandad was a Pompey fan, Dad never really been in to football.
So I've always stuck by 'em.

On the light side, Pompey has some good local fishing!
