pingu totaly agree we need to win on the pitch show sep blabber what we are about ,,,,,just watched footy focus everyone is saying they are disgusted at fifa even our bloke is stepping down we should boycot european matches and foreign players i think that would sort em out and break away we are the greatest footballing nation in the world we gave the world football ,it stinks ,,

To be honest British teams dont give a toss about the world cup as it does not give them income ( apart from 20% of the takings at a game whem their ground is used ,
They are only intested in the european cups as it generates Millions for them .

Even the players get paid but the amount they get paid is never disclosed,. The players get massive bonuses if they win the World Cup.
so how many put furtune before fame ?

Teams/countries who have not held the world cup include Wales , Scotland , and Ireland Roll on 2030 o and iraq

to be honest English football died with the influx of foreign players to watch good english footy you have to look to the lower leagues , we do crap in the world cup because the english players that are good are very few look at arsenal chels ect mainly foriegn kills me to say it but villa seem to be the only club that trys to put out a british squad ,,,pull out of fifa now send the foreign players home they will soon complain about fifa might cause a revolt while were at it pull out of brussels ,,europe has only ever caused this nation trouble coal has gone steel white good ect too many refugees ,,we have enough footy here with our domestic cups ect fa cup is reverd all over the world as the match to play in

Couldn`t agree more chazyboi, The influx of foreign players is causing the demise of the England team. Some of the big premiership teams regularly field a more foreigners than homegrown players. I`d like to see a 4 foreign player limit for all British teams, it would help redress the balance and lift our own players, create a more level playing field and get rid of the spend more money win more trophies mentality.

That only works if you can buy players who gel as a team ,
some teams ie man city are just buying individuals , Missionary's is more a apt word ,very few clubs bring British players through their youth teams who actually make it to the first time ,

To get this right the fa need to spend more money at grass root level ,starting at schools .We are light yrs behind some countries in the development of our youngsters

before worrying about hosting a world cup we need to develop a team that is actually capable of winning one
