Easy saltwater flats fishing fly

How to tie the bendback fly. An easy to make and cast fly that works great on the saltwater flats.

Re: Easy saltwater flats fishing fly

Hi Capt Chris

Thanks for your tutorial.

I'm currently working on a fishing community site which is still currently in design. I am launching a forum soon along with a selection of top UK retailers. I am working also on a fund raising project for late next year to raise money to clean up UK river/canal banks.

I am very impressed with your short video on tying fly hooks and was wondering if it would be possible to feature it on my site for the benefit of my site visitors? If you dont approve i understand.

Have you done any fishing in England? Also in the US where do you fish? my partners are planning a US version of our site in the next few months as well. I would be very keen on maintaining a dialogue with you for your advice and recommendations..

Kind regards

Marcus

Fell free to use the video as you need. Thanks. I fish the saltwater flats on Florida's east coast near Orlando. I have a variety of other how to videos on my Youtube channel at http://www.youtube.com/user/fishcamp1?feature=mhee

Re: Easy saltwater flats fishing fly

Thanks Kindly for this Chris

Im currently working on a clean up programme with all of our big super markets such as Tesco, Walmart, Sainsbury Etc to raise funding to clean up our river/canal banks, along with lakes and shore lines etc. Many of our waters are polluted with shopping bags, trolleys (carts i think you would refer to), etc. Major task ahead, but not something that can be left untouched.

How are the rivers in the US in general in terms of their upkeep? I appreciate its a massive country compared with our tiny island. But do you see much in the way of rubbish thrown into the waters?

Re: Easy saltwater flats fishing fly

Chris you've got some great videos online. I will include some of these videos in our tutorial section for our site users. Thanks kindly again for this. Our site is still very young and our forum only went live last week. If you have time please visit the site and maybe join our forum. I would really appreciate your presence with our network.

Also once we perfect this model, we plan to launch a site in the US as well.
