| Re: Bass fishing tonight I was on Teignmouth back beach last night walking the dog. Hundreds of gulls were in a feeding frenzy right on the shore line picking off sandeels that were being chased by schoolies. Might head down there with the rod later __________________ I am in shape. ROUND is a shape!     |

| Re: Bass fishing tonight Got out last night arrivedhalf hour before high water, nice and mild no wind at all, There was a lot of scum shitty stuff on the surface so weighted for the tide to start pushing out a bit to take the scum away. Fishing a floating line single fly and about 7lft leader landed 4 small bass and lost 1 about 4lb at the edge of bank. Seen a few more but they wasnt really nailing the fly just nipping at the fly. Things can only get better now they have finally arrived. |

| Re: Bass fishing tonight coudnt make it last night the misses was nights, Just had a text of my mate saying he caught 8 small bass to 2lb and seen afew more. All caught on the fly and released. |

| Re: Bass fishing tonight Thats nice to know flyman, went out for a few hours on tuesday and i was just amazed how many nets were out there, drifting was an absolute nightmare being careful not to drift into nets, just in the vincinity to where i was fishing there must have been around twenty to twenty five nets, I thought there was a byelaw that nets can not be laid within three miles from shore.....must be a myth! I even saw one net that must have been no more than 800yards from the beach.  |
