Re: First Attempt does anyone know of any fly tying night classes or the like in the Exeter area? I'm enjoying making a few but I know I'm probably not using the right techniques etc. Almost finished this one, just got to tidy it up once the resin sets solid ![]() ![]()

Re: First Attempt I was going to say you get better with practice, but by the look of your last photo, its perfection, max

Re: First Attempt Those flies look pretty dman good to me. I stopped tying a year or so ago, although I plan on tying some small flies for catching bait fish with when out on a boat this summer. __________________ Ignore the margins at your peril

Re: First Attempt bloody well done, they look smashing mate, if you trout fish ask a few guys at your local fisherie or try the tackle shop, they will know a fly tying guild local to you, but normally they only go into action, in the winter months when things are slow fishing. ![]()
