first mullet on the fly

knocked off work went to the boat and was set that i was going to land a mullet on a fly and not get smashed up .
it payed off when this fella fancyed a bit of fluff

mullet on

and after a long battle of at least 30 minutes and it jumping 4-5 foot clear of the water few times it came to the net

coming in at 5 1/2 lb, its a pb on the fly for me and the first mullet

Nice one John, I still remember the first(and only) mullet I caught, thanks to your help......anyway, I need a few more sea species, sooooooooooooooooo can you please please take me out on your lovely nutshell again some time? (she asks nicely, flattering her eye lashes)

PMSL the guys caught well after my groundbaiting might come in to fashion with sea fishing

Seen them that size swiming around in the river Torrage down here in Devon, tried to catch them even had one take the bait into its mouth the spit it out, using bread crust and ground baiting with sloppey bread and sweet corn.
at least TEN trips out still drawing blanks HELP please.
