bass fishing fri and sunday

popped down the river again friday night, high water was about 10.30pm nice and early for a change.got down the river about 8.30 to make wading across the river abit easier in the light.water looking great just a little wind .
Fished for about an hour before my mate had a good pull but didnt connect
it would have been is first bass on a fly .The tide was 11.2 a bit bigger than we normally fish but ididget 2 small bass

Didnt go saturday wife was nights sunday was looking good 10 m tide 10 to12
high water.2 of my mates left early to fish fridays water me and mike left 2
hours later to fish the other river, on the way we gave them aring nothing
happening so they meet us after. On arriving Mike peered over th bridge to see
a couple of bass the bright lights of the road make it easy to see when they come to the surface,With in 5 mins we each have a bass my other 2 mates
turn up and its not long before we all hook up. with plenty of fish on and off
we landed 14 kept 1 each fish were averaging 2 to 4lb.

Re: bass fishing fri and sunday

I can't cast in the light, never mind in the dark lol.....only tried fly fishing twice so far but will give it a few more goes this year.....need to learn how to cast properly first.

Stood in the sea gave me a good opportunity to try it out without causing too much damage.
