| Re: Tackle For Salt Water If it's good quality gear it should be OK. However make sure you give it a thorough rinsing in fresh water as soon as possible after fishing & keep your reel / reels seat well lubricated with suitable oil. I use WD40 & smear fresh reel grease on the reel spindle, but take care not to get it on your flyline. Also buy or tie flies that use quality corrosion resistant hooks.
