Olden,norway

HELLO,

This year in august i am going to norway on holiday. i am going to olden on Nordfjord. i am staying on the lake oldenvatn i was wondering if anyone knew anything about fishing in this region or even in this lake. i would be grateful for hints and tips about this area.

Hello mate.
I m not to sure on the area your fishing (i think its near Alesund??)but whenever ive fished Norway its been brillient wherever ive fished.
The lakes will be full of trout and char and the rivers will have salmon and trout much bigger than ours.
As for the coast the cod fishing is the best ive ever had,i had 9lb cod in the harbours.
There should be plenty of trips available to take you out,i got most of my cod on jigs and lures but not knowing the exact area your off to i cant say for sure.

One thing you can be sure of tho ,the fishing will be great because they conserve there stocks unlike us.
