| Just off to my local tackle shop to get more details about a local stream that i've been told about. 3 miles of wild brown trout fly fishing for £15 a year. A tributary of the river Frome called the Mells river. Anyone know anything about it? __________________ One man's fish is another man's poissons http://www.deepsea.co.uk http://www.wildtrout.org |

| Well I found out that it is part of the Frome club water & also includes some of the river frome too. The Mells river had a good review by Jon Beer in Trout & Salmon magazine so it sounds good value. Unfortunately the season ticket runs from June to June so it is not really worth me investing in one in May. Will definately get one in June though. Have to treat myself to a small brook rod now. Probably get a 3-4# weight. __________________ One man's fish is another man's poissons http://www.deepsea.co.uk http://www.wildtrout.org |

| Re: Wild trout water. Ask them if they're selling tix now. They gotta know May is too short. Are they going to say no, come back in 3 weeks? Never know till you ask. ![]() __________________ A bad day fishing is better than a good day working!
