Re: Knots for easy fly-changes

Winters been so warm here, the only ice is in a glass. We're not known for gr8 ice fishing anyway.

Shall be taking my two 4.5 & 3years olds on their first fishing trip next month--sadly no Ice-- and just Eastern Silversides for prey. However they are plentiful, easy to catch & fantastic to eat.

Cheers Edwin
I'll do that!

Size and species does not count too much for kids, but if they don't catch any they won't enjoy it. My youngest got his first trout baitfishing last year, 3 years old and his first grab in the rod! Now he's an entusiast, tends to hysterical when I ask if we shall go fishing :)

Re: Knots for easy fly-changes

Very true Stian,
Regardless of where I have been in the world throughout the last 58 years nothing has given me more pleasure than fishing. It's not the catching of fish but the trying & the wonderful peace & scenery that goes with it whether it be a docklands cannal, a scotish river, or the reefs of Tahiti. Want my kids to experience the same.
Cheers Edwin.
