But you still haven't explained what you mean about being lied to!

As for trying the place for myself - no thanks - fishing for bloated submarine pigs is not my idea of sport!

When we go to this venue we catch a few fish then relax in the licenced bar/cafe and sink a cople of cold ones on a hot summers day. Then we arrived one day to find that the bar was full of half pissed people celebrating something or other but we were assured, (before we payed the extortionate price) that we would be able to get some form of refreshment. When we tried, we were told no chance, We were stuck with nothing to eat or drink all day. (lie 1). Next time we went, we rang first and were assured there was no function on. When we got there we found we had been deliberatly lied to as again there was a function on. (lie 2) also everything had changed for the worst, fishing wise ie lakes filled with weed and understocked. smaller fish, trees allowed to grow unchecked , making casting difficult (fly fishing).
