Nope, I knew it was closing from July until September because of the likely poor fishing conditions but had assumed it was open again. Was going to fish it shortly but looks like I'll have to try Big Well instead.

apparently it was supposed to open a fortnight ago ,i went last saturday at 9am and it was all locked up

Hi there
it's still closed because we're waiting for the temperature of the water to drop - we reopened very briefly and discovered that there was a lice problem, so to make sure we have healthy trout to fish and that there's a lowered risk of spreading lice between fisheries, we've closed until the water reaches the correct temperature for the problem to lessen.
There will be a website up and running from mid November at www.cwmhedd.co.uk which will have updates as and when things change, as well as a gallery and other things: the number of the lodge is on the 'under construction' website.

Hi everyone
