| i tried trout fishing for the fist time on saturday could not get the hang of using a fly rod and reel can anyone suggest another method i wish to return my catch unharmed plus the best time to go trout fishing |

| Re: help does depend upon teh venue though, some are fly only venues OR... crickets and grasshoppers |

| Re: help They'll take most things providing the water allows it. Spinning can work and trotting with maggots on rivers but a lot of trout waters are fly only (well, fly rod and some for of artificial lure as a lot don't even represent flies these days!) |
