Re: Good if you can do it It isn't a trout lake Norfolk, it is a river, but you can fish for trout in the rivers now. You can't fish for course. __________________ Back to the fizzy pop league for another season

Re: Good if you can do it i didn't know there were any trout in the rivers, also if you say only coarse fish is closed, you can still get pike and perch on that, so you might accidentaly get one of them, and they'll think you're fishin for coarse.... or am i over reacting?

Re: Good if you can do it Loads of Brown Trout. You can't ACTIVELY fish for Pike or other fish. A baliff would have to prove you were after course fish. Having maggots, worms or 6" lure on your line suggests you might be up to no good, but have a fly tied on it's pretty obvious you're after Trout. Trout season, I believe is from April till October. __________________ Back to the fizzy pop league for another season

Re: Good if you can do it The hapless trout angler returns, empty handed and dejected. Seems like the tackle just wasn't up to the job. I was hoping the braid might have been heavy enough to get the fly out, but not so. Tried spinning for a while but didn't get a sniff. How frustrating when you can see loads of the blighters sitting into the flow and popping up for a fly as went by. I had images of them singing, "Trout fisherman, your having a larf". I guess I was too Right, back to the tackle store to find a solution... __________________ Back to the fizzy pop league for another season
