Lough Neagh

I will probably be having regular overnight stops near Belfast shortly and, as well as sea fishing in Belfast Lough, I am thinking of taking a fly rod to try out Lough Neagh. Now this is a huge lake and I wouldn't know where to start. Has anyone ever fished it and, if so, is it fishable from the bank or would a boat be a must? I would be fishing the area near the airport probably. I assume it has a good number of wild browns in there. Also, any idea of cost would be helpful. Thanks.
