Albury,Vale End 9/1/12

Very mild, overcast and some breeze.Fish still shoaled on main lake.Nothing from smaller lake, not even a look!.Moved around main lake and again nothing.Fishing near the shoal produced four fish,a couple lost and lots of plucks on either cat,Jack Frost or Egg fly.
Really strange how the fish shoal up.One theory is lice. One or two lice on one of my fish otherwise clean!!!Been that way since before Xmas.

They shoal up on our club lake but only during the warm weather and then over the springs that rise in the bottom of the lake or in the weirpool where the river enters the lake. I had this problem at Lakedown a few years ago and had to wait in line to get a chance to cast at them.

If I had known you where going out yesterday I would of joined you.
