Right! That's it! I'll be heading that way then next year around March. Weather is cool enough down here and I'm not the best at being cold when stationary.

How many times do you get out fishing?

Not as much as I would like or have done in the past due to workload.

Once in my 20's I gave it up and sold all my gear for a new HI-Fi sytem !
Big Mistake.
Within a year I had bought it all back AND MORE and started fishing again !

Done it ever since.....No escape !

Trying to locate an old "video" (now probably in DVD form) from the States (where else) showing fly fishing for pike. It was brilliant !
Great big white spun deer hair flies "Megga Divers" or something ? Bimini knots and wire leaders, all good stuff and way ahead of us at the time !
They caught a shedload of fish especially in shallow water.

canadians been doing it longer mate my old man was from toronto he used to eat them i cant stand the taste myself john wilson did a dvd on them you can buy the deer hair flies here they arnt hard to tie i have a couple of mice tied similar way

Eaten pike few times years back. They're OK but I wouldn't rush back to it.
