Fly Fishing In the Midlands

Hi Chaps, Fished yesterday for three and half hours and had four. I started with a floater and took one on a Mirage Cormorant, before changing to a Sixth Sense Mid Glass and fished Flash Stragglers taking three fish in three casts. The fish were off the bottom and willing to chase.

Temp was 11 deg with Barometrics reading 103 mb. That's a rising pressure reading from my previous visit.

Hi Chub1, Ellerdine is in the unique position at the moment. Good weather and a good stocking density. People having 30 fish a day is good for business and word spreads quickly. Especially when 14lb's are around. Nice fish.
