Runs in NW England?

Hi all

Just wondering if there's any Salmon or Trout runs in the North Western region of England as I'd love to fish them one day (or any close to Cheshire)

Thanks in advance, Zach

Contact (and join) The Prince Albert Angling Society. They have quite a few good rivers up there.
The Lune and many of its tributaries as well as others not to mention several good rivers in Wales.
I think its still based in Macclesfield, Cheshire.
