You are never to old to learn something new I thought I knew most thing about flytying having tied for over 40 years and also running a tying Class but my branch of the guild had Chris Reeves as the guest speaker last night and I'm glad to say that I learnt quite a few little tricks and finally got hold of some Tasser wire for my deep nymphs. Thanks Chris that was a most imformative evening.

Re: You are never to old to learn something new its a plastic coated fine copper wire and as well as adding weight to the fly it allows the colour or flash of the underbody to show through the plastic which gives you a lot of different possibilities.

Re: You are never to old to learn something new Had a play around with the wire this afternoon and came up with these , by changing the under body you get an interesting chage of colour. ![]()
