bloody weather

Hi guys

Well if its not high winds on saturday its heavy rain on sunday cant win, so bang goes my days fishing this weekend.

Hi, know how you feel, mate and I were going to go to Cumbrae this weekend, but don`t want to take a chance on the ferry being off. Still round about this time last year we were still knee deep in snow.

Was going today but been rough and still feel like c##p so will have to wait until next saturday now

going to brave the weather and go tomorrow, not fussed if i catch its just a day out and enjoy the fresh air.

Hi guys
todays fishing went really well had 11 trout all around 2lb-2 and half pound mark, no rain which was good, the wind blowing in my face at 18mph in the morning and around 25mph in afternoon,
Im glad i made the decision to go had a good day and the surrounding all good even did a bit of bird spotting(dont tell my misses) cant wait for the summer even more will be out.

Yeah the fish were in feeding mode, i fished thornton reservoir in leicestershire its 75 acres bank and boats, 2miles of bank fishing. its only my second time there, first time i went which was last wednesday i only had 4 but still enjoyed it.

Mmmmmmmm,bit thanks.Just hope i shake it off quickly,have a club day next saturday,fishing,some and a bbq also with the hope of some.
Thornton,not been,bit of a hike from here.However another forum that i use have a regular autumn meet there over the course of a weekend so hope to be able to participate at some point.
