my first buzzer ![]() Hi guys this is my first attempt of a buzzer using clear top coat nail varnish, Its the same a sally hansons hard as nails just a different make nabbed it off my girlfriend. .As you can see its not the best, well it would of been better but i decided to put my fingers all over it before it was properly dry, plus it did look good to me untill i took the picture and enlarged it. With a bit more practice i will get there. Any tips or info to get them a little bit better would be very greatful. cheers mitch

Re: my first buzzer That will catch.Just make sure each coat is totally dry before re coating and use sparingly. ![]() Just remember the fish will not know the difference from a superbly tied masterpiece to almost a bare hook.I was told a long time ago that shop bought flies should be scruffed up a bit before using em ![]()

You`ll notice when the subject changed to drinking, I decided to join the conversation? lol. Have a look at these flies, made for display I think, not for fishingthe bling of fly tying lol. pureartflytying.ning.com/photo?page=3 (sorry my computer is still a bit wonky, just google the link) Hi Mitch, I love fly tying, especially now I`ve got to the point, where I can almost create a pattern for most river insects. They may be rough and scruffy at times, but I know they`ll catch me fish. Your buzzer, I think will definitely catch you fish, looks good for a first attempt and they`ll get better each time.
