I am confused about tying in a cock hackle for a dry fly, I will try and put is as brief as possible do you pull the actual sides of the feather back against the grain,, or do you tie them in as they come by just baring some of the thick end and and catching it there and then wind the feather on with the feather as it comes. . . .
