Cool Harry's Lake

Hi all fluff chuckers,

Went to Harry's lake today had a teaching session with a couple of clients.

When they had gone had a session of my own....Harry lets me fish for nothing when its quiet.

Only fished for 30 minutes...cos had to get home for me lunch! MMMMmmm Roast beef and trimmings.

I had 2 Rainbows one of 3lbs but the other was a stonker of 7lbs taken on a goldhead fly. Black marabou tail, black body green thorax ribbed with silver tinsel. Fished on a floating line 10 foot leader and fast figure of eight back to me.

Great fight on light gear...was using a 5 weight rod!!

Another fish for the Species list.

Well done Smoothy!!

You can't stop catching! They're some cracking fish, my favourite trout are the rainbow except for the golden!

Re: Harry's Lake

Well done - Good brace Smoothy.

I noticed black working again. Was the water clear or discoloured and was the sky very overcast?
Is this ' Harry's Lake' where you can arrange the 'fluff chuck' meet? Sounds a great place to fish
