| Re: Champion fly rod  It looks very much like some of the last mass produced split cane rods that were manufactured in Japan towards the end of the 1960s, before glass fibre rods came along. I think the model you have there is one of their combination models that could be used to make up a couple of different lengths of fly rods & by reversing the handle, a spinning / general purpose fishing rod.
