| looking for a fly Just started fly fishing and was out at Craufordland near fenwick in Ayrshire. Was there for a good few hours and did't catch anything when an old man came up and asked what fly i was using, told him i hadn't a clue and he gave me one of his and said thats what their taking. After a few casts with this fly i managed to hook one. The problem is i have now lost the fly and can't recall the exact name of it. I have search all over the internet but to no avail, i can remember it was something like a 'kullney kinard'. Any help would be much appreciated. |

| Re: looking for a fly Cul De Canard? This is a feather that is taken from a Ducks back side if you will, it is waterproff because it is found near the secreation gland of the duck. It could have been an "F" fly, this is tired soley with Cul De Conard feathers. Google images then type F Fly and you will see. Hope this has helped, GAZ |
