Greys or Wynchwood?

I have been fly fishing for twelve months now and I am still loving it, so I
think it is time I invested in some quality hardware. But what to buy? The
Greys GRXI+ outfit or the Wynchwood True fly or Aura with the SLA reel.
I fish mainly still water reservoirs and some times places like Stocks @ Slaidburn, so I would be looking at a 9.5 ft 7#. Has anyone tried these outfits that could give me some advice? cheers, Gaz.

Re: Greys or Wynchwood?

It's got to be Greys for me. Greys are owned by Hardy, who make some of the best fly gear. Greys have a lifetime guarantee on most of their products, like Hardy.

Re: Greys or Wynchwood?

Cheers guys, it seems more people have a greater opinion of greys than wynchwood? stocks online are doing a rod, the snowbee diamond 9,6" #7
£80.00 it looks a nice pice of kit, does anyone have any feed back on that rod?

Re: Greys or Wynchwood?

I use a 5wt tcr for all my fly fishing, never use my 7wt greys xd anymore,a 5 or 6wt is a lot lighter on the arm.
