Scottish lochs & the Lake

How many of the budding anglers have come up to Scotland for some great fishing. i am at the lake this week and i am interested in how you found fishing in Scotland and where you fished

I used to live on Skye and fished there for trout. It was totally different kind of sport. Loved every minute of it. Would like to get back and have another go

Yes real wild brown trout fishing is something else and untill you have tried it you will never know just how good it is

I used to fish Gareloch and Loch Long when I was living up there back in the seventies,Had some good cod and conger off the beach and used to go out in a canoe in the submarine channels with a string of macky feathers tied to each side of the paddles and fill the canoe up. good fun love to do it again

well ive never heard of fishing with paddles but hey if it works for you iwas more looking for folks that fish for trout but i will keep that in mind

well the sun was bright and a few limit bags were had but i only had one fish still it was a good day out
