Looks like a good deal to me, but I just recently bought the outfit in this link https://www.fishingmegastore.com/sti...-rod~6567.html (outfit choice 1).

Had 2 Rainbows on it in it's first outing at Carbeth fishery yesterday. The rod casts very well (despite my bad technique ), although I can't be sure it's the same with the reel it comes with as I have the intermediate line on that and I fished the floating line on an old reel yesterday.

The old reel I had on is heavier than the more modern reel you get with it in the package deal and slighly unbalances the rod though, so should cast even better with the reel you get with the rod.
