Sjman is on a distinguished road
One Happy Chappy!

Went to Clatworthy Reservoir on thursday only for an evening fish (4-8pm) and for the first time i caught my quota.. 2 lovely rainbows 2lb and 2lb 6oz.
Only just started this season and was beginning to think i was doing something severly wrong with only catching the odd one here and there and of no substantial size.. but think it was just a case of my luck had not been in.
Hopefully things will start to look better from here on in.

Re: One Happy Chappy!

Well done, its a great feeling to be successful and those little fellows put up such a great battle...must be one of my favourite fighting fish.
Badger other people that are doing well beside you if you are struggling, that was one of my biggest down falls, learnt an incredible and invalueble ammount of information from all the guys that used to fish Barcombe res in sussex, especially from Roger the bailiff. sadly the res has closed now but owe a big thankyou to all you guys!

Moral of the story don,t bother with books, Don,t be a loaner.....ask and learn, everybody is out to enjoy and any help they can give a fellow fisherman is equally rewarding in itself.....SO THERE!
