| catch and release Hi, Does anyone think the increase in catch and release fisheries will make the fish hook shy and harder to catch or is this just an anglers excuse for not catching any fish. William     |

| Re: catch and release My club water is catch and release if u want. no problems with shy and harder fish to catch.they might go off for a couple of hours but they soon get the urge to feed again.U get people moaning theres no fish the poachers have had them all but if they move instead of staying in 1 place they willsoon find them. | Re: catch and release Thanks Flyman The reason I wrote was my usual fishery is catch and release only no fish are allowed to be killed or kept.It is here I keep being told by visitors who are on a day ticket that the fish are too wary and hook shy they then leave and moan about the lack of fish being caught.although they have seen fish moving and rising.I like you tell the ones I speak to that they should move around to find the fish but I think most are to lazy and just want to bag up with little or no work or thought involved everything has to be easy for them.
