Does anyone know if heat shrink wrap will connect two fly lines together to make a shooting head.

I think it would pull through, unless it was used over a loop. I use shrink tubing instead of a braided loop, but as I said, it wouldn`t take much force to separate them. Peter

What about a braided sleeve (cut the loop off), feed in the two ends and superglue the ends? That might work. Peter.
