| ADVICE where to go I live in Israel. I want to spend up to a month someplace where I can live cheap (a cabin, hostel rooming house etc) and have access to decent salt or freshwater flyfishing. a place on a remote lake in the mountains somewhere would be great or a river or even a place where there is good saltwater flats fishing with plenty of locals who might take me out for not too much money. I would consider Africa, Europe or Asia but not the US (I know my options there) as long as it is safe and not too physical as I have some heart trouble. So if anyone knows where I can find a fishing utopia for a month thanks in advance. Norm     |

| Re: ADVICE where to go Well stay clear of the solent untill March mate, it's arse at the moment. How about Norway? Expensive tho  Failing that you can live in my garage and fish in Pompey harbour __________________ One day i will post a catch report again. |

| Re: ADVICE where to go Norm, the trouble is, what you are describing is angling heaven, and that's big business I'm afraid. I know lots of places with cottages and lakes right outside etc, but especially in Europe they don't come cheap. If I found what you are looking for, I'm pretty sure I'd be keeping it to myself.  |
