Re: Fly rod ?

Yep, I could do with a lesson. Big intention to get out after the trout once the season starts on the Usk again. Will the lesson be actual fishing or just casting over grass though? I keep thinking of going to the local rugby field to practice but can't put up with the same old "you'll never catch anything here" joke over and over again, nearly as funny as when I'm out with a measuring wheel and get told "you won't get far on that bike"!

Post Re: Fly rod ?

We will be fishing a small lake, fishing basics, casting lessons first, followed by coffee and bacon butties, followed by some actual fly fishing.

Will go through the whole bit with you and then help you to catch some Trout.

Flies etc or any spare gear i will have with me.

Will post details of venue and date after xmas. OK with you guys?
