| Re: Fly bait for carp I seen a bloke catch a carp on a trout lake a while back but I didn't get to see what he was using. I suppose a fly similar to what I use sometimes for trout - the fish egg, would do it, as it does resemble a boilie. You can get them in just about any colour. __________________ FishKeep - Fishing Venues|Reviews|Competitions |

| Re: Fly bait for carp Carp take most dry flies, they will also take nymphs and lures too. My first caught carp, be it bait of fly was on a bright pink dog nobbler!! Recently I have been using the dry fly 'super bonio', which is clipped deer hair, with an orange of pink tuft to make it visible. They are #1.10 each, I buy mine form sportfish.co.uk They are in ther special dries section. Good luck. |

| Re: Fly bait for carp The deer-hair muddler is a favourite of mine, however any dog-biccy looking fly will work. Sparkle and Orange egg flies are also deadly on very sunny days. ![]() |
