novice fly fisher

getting my fly fishing gear the weekend, thanks to smoothound of sorting to out for me.
i will have a practice some time next week, and most probably be asking for tips and advice.

BIG THANKS to smoothy for sorting me out with some 'orvis' fly gear, shaun told me i need some hollow line to fix to the reel? where can i get it from?

Brett,

Its called braided nylon, ask any tackle shop that sells fly fishing gear. ITs the stuff they make "braided loop" connectors out of. If still having difficulty PM me and I will sort out for you..... its £200 per spool! NOT!

rods all cleaned up now, reel loaded with line and made myself some practice flies (wool wrapped round a hook with the end cut off, dont want to end up in hospital with fly im my eye or back of head.) trying to finish earlt today so i can do a bit of fluff chuckin.
