Fisheries this summer

What fisheries are you going to this year? Post your comments here and tell fellow forum members what you will be doing this year, are you going bait or fly fishing, where are you going?

Smile Re: Fisheries this summer

I shall give most of my local Fly Fisheries a go. First fly trip of the year is uaually to Sutton Bingham in Somerset (A good early season Bank water) I'll be taking Twiddler & Bananna Steve to Worton Nr Devizes for some fly casting lessons & later in the year I shall be out with my usual fly fishing partner Pete in the boats at Blagdon & Chew. Richard (FFA) also want's some lessons, so a busy year....

Re: Fisheries this summer

any bit of beach between selsey and the exe depending on tide/conditions and form, might get to the bristol channel again at some point.

Re: Fisheries this summer

I'm going to be very busy again this year.....fly fishing lesson with Greenheart, trotting a float on the river Itchen for some graylings next weekend, fishing the mighty Sabrina (river Severn) for some barbel on the 1st March. Not to mention my club match every months for some sea species in the Solent area.
Smutt meet in June/July time, Sywell in May a charity match, our club fun day on the 12th of May......the list is endless........
