I can cast fairly well and have my own tackle but i'm stuck for somewhere to fish in yokshire could anyone tell me where I could start off?

Re: New to game fishing

Hi...we had a dabble at fly fishing a few years ago and did quite well at a fishery on the road between tadcaster and wetherby...sorry I cant remember its name...but it half way between the two towns on the right as you go towards tadcaster.

Theres also fewston and siwnsty out harrogate way....both water board venues and well stocked.

Hope this helps...I mainly coarse fish so can give you no idea as to where is actually fishing well.

Dave

Hi Ethan,

Please let me know what type of trout fishing you want to do. River, Lake or Reservoir... then i can advise on where to fish and what types of flies, lines etc. Am a qualified casting and fishing instructor so if i can help..... just ask away.

Cheers
