backing

could someone tell me how much backing i need?
i bought a reel with 4 spools and lines dident realise i also needed backing
for them as i am a novice and is there a need to buy an expensive type
or will a cheep one do the trick?

there are a lot of variables to your query IE reel size, line weight, w/forward or double taper I would think about 50yards per reel

Don't buy cheap backing as when you need it with a fish of a lifetime on the end you don't want it breaking or with some of the cheap stuff tangling up with it's self. Braided mono is great value for money and lasts for ages you can get it in loads of colours and I would say get 30/35lbs
