A 20quid Lesson Will Put 20yards On Your Cast
Thought you said on another thread that distance isn't important? In my experience the main benefit about improving your casting is being able to cast accurately and to place the fly on the surface with minimal disruption. That brace is a bloody good start I reckon and he shows he is thinking about things as he has said how a change in the retrieve rate bagged his one fish. Good start, it took me a lot longer to land my first fish on the fly!

Definately worth getting casting lessons Paul. You'll learn more in an hour with a good instructor, than you'll learn in a year on your own.
