| Blagdon another result Arrived at the lodge at 8 oclock paid myŁ16.50 for my 8 fish ticket, great value for money compared to some trout fishing these days. Set of for long bay just down from the lodge. Set up with afloating line with ateam of 3 flies , top dropper was a cormerant with orange goose biots tied in at the cheeks, next was ablack buzzer which i changed now and then with adai balch and on the point went a small black nymph.cast out pulled the line to sink the flies, wollep flies gone wasnt ready start again.Caught 13 fish by the time we finished, snapped 3 times all the flies caught fish, finished at 2 oclock. It was a lot easier on the old back useing the floating line i must be getting old.Slow figure of 8 was the the retreive also pulling the flies for acouple of feet and stopping they would take with a wollep on the drop. If you are thinking of going over there i would certainly reccomend it iTOOK 5 FISH HOME TO 4POUND. flyman      |
