1st time fluff chucking , john-ogurnts (romsey)

well on friday just after dinner i got the dreded phone call . boat trip off
after a few swear words one of my work m8s (pete) said about going fly fishing with him , job done. after a few phone calls i invited young dan(fisherdan) from our fishing club.
any way after finding out me and pete didnt have to work, we arranged to get and John-ogurnts fisherary ponds @ 9am.
after getting set up and a few pointers in how to cast for me off we went to the cloudy pond,
and after 5 minutes first blood to me

pete then got one with in seconds of me landing mine
next was dan

and after a 10 minute scrap

after all the fish were landed , we move on to the clear pond, which is ment to be harded to catch on , and after 10 minutes, dan had one on and landed this

next was me again, then pete landed another. it was then quite for half hour and i move round a bit and got another , at the same time so did pete, then all quite again,
after a hour or so i tryed were i got my second one and on 1st cast bang, a right little stropy trout, took ages to get in and it was the smallest one i had all day (10 out of 10 for that fella),
after that we head back to the cloudy pond and dan got the last fish of the day
result - me with 4 @ 3lb / 2 1/2lb / 3 1/2lb / 4 lb
dan with 3 @ 3 1/4lb / 3 11/2lb / 2lb
pete with 3 @ 3lb / 3 1/2lb / 4lb

well done everyone! sounds like a canny first trip out and that last fish caught by dan , the spotty one was a pretty fish, then again so was the silvery one! well done!
