Salmon fishing.

Come on guys, somebody on the forum must have done some salmon fishing? I bought a day ticket for the river Dart a couple of years back. I tried wading in Totnes weirpool. Very frustrating, salmon jumping everywhere, so close that I was getting wet from their splashes. Buggers would'nt look at my fly though!!! Definately on my fish to catch list though.
