Talking Fly fishing the lakes and rivers of N.Wales

Having returned to N Wales after some 30 absent years I am looking for info on fishing the rivers and lakes in the Snowdonia range,
What is allowed or not -spinning?, bait?, or fly?
Where can you fish?
where can I aquire permits?
Where can I find Boat hire on the lakes?
What can I expect from what rivers or lakes.

What I am Not expecting is to be told of your secret fish producing areas

Can anyone help a friendly fisherman

Hi Trevor welcome to the forum.

I think I can anbswer a couple of your questions.

I would try and Fish the River Dee at Corwen, Bala etc. Go to the Fishing Wales web site and that will reveal all.
For lakes try Llyn Brenig.

Species of fish includes, Grayling, Brown Trout, Salmon, Rainbows.

I hope this helps.
