| Re: seasons for Fly fishing used to be 15Th of march up there but they change the dates some times. Blagdon lake in the Bristol area is already open, chew valley next week. my part of the world river wylye, avon, bourne,etc 1st April. No close season for brown trout, if it is an enclosed lake, now being proposed, and almost sure to be implemented. There is no need to have a close season for land locked fish as they can`t run up any streams to breed if land in land locked lake. |
